GREAT SUMMER TIPS!
Great weather has to be one of the main perks of the summer season. Bright sunny nights and warm nights are the perfect combination for outdoor fun. But, along with this comes the increased risk factor and vulnerability to you skin. Summer accounts up to 80% of UV exposure, making it much more to gear up and protect your skin.
TIME TO RENEW: Experts say to keep your skin ready for the intense summer is with regular exfoliation. This gets rid of the dry flaky skin the has been building since winter. Use on face and while in the shower apply it to your washcloth, puff, or loofah and scrub in a gentle circular motion. It will leave your skin soft, even toned and beach ready!
EAT RIGHT: Because we sweat in the summer our skin becomes less supple and dried out. To help counter these effects, eating plenty of food rich in antioxidants, proteins and vitamin C helps keep dry skin on the fence. To counter lost calcium from sweating, milk, yogurt and cheese should become your best friend. And of course drink plenty of water. But you knew that right?

MIX IT UP: Apply sunscreen isn’t the only way to protect your skin as there are many more fashionable choices to protect your skin, such as covering up with a large brimmed hat and the always fashionable sunglasses! Big hats and sunglasses offer extra protection by covering up the very sensitive skin on your face. And don’t forget the big beach umbrella to sit under while relaxing on the beach.
